Coming Off a Rocky Mountain High...and a BLIZZARD!!!

I am only now-over a week later-feeling fully recovered physically after what was a whirlwind day last Wednesday, April 10th (see pics below!) The #GPL Grande Premiere (soft) Launch of #ModeDeMiims & #AdmiredGlobal by #MiimsDeMichel was a lot of fun, and a lot of work! Here in Colorado, another blizzard halted things in the Denver Metro area by the end of the day, affecting the attendance of the Success Summit by the time Sandra Yancey (keynote speaker and #CEO for eWomenNetwork ) ever began her presentation. Personally, a flat tire on my way from Denver to the summit in Co Springs affected my ability to set up the showcase table (which was a gorgeous double-sized one in the front corner of the aisle of exhibitors - THANK YOU Managing Director Brenda Layton!) The display was truly spectacular and very eye-catching.

I slept until 2pm the next day. The #blizzard had moved in full-throttle, diving home had proven an absolute dangerous challenge at best. People were fish-tailing and others in the ditch. When I came over the other side of the summit (the one which divides the two cities) there was an accident going the other direction of the freeway which stopped traffic altogether.

So thankful beyond words for those who supported me directly as my VIP guests and modeled as well in the fashion show presentation! Humongous thanks and praise to #DavidMSchlatter , #AgaHoma , #ReneeVejvoda (Executive Director for #eWNDen ), #MichelleMras , #OliviaOmega #MadeleineCosta (my faithful and incredible website manager/designer!)- #Jodjette (my identical twin sister who is always along for the ride, voluntarily and involuntarily!) #TonyaOrlandoDesigns , #ShanynMaddox , #JamesFlowers , #JodiDyce , and #KellyKent. Every single one [who modeled] absolutely R*O*C*K*E*D the room! It was an absolute blast.

Several bumps along the way gave me a very clear idea of what not to do for any future events. Primarily, the next BIG event will be one that I sponsor and control, meaning that after the Denver Bridal Expo (#ACSshows) and sponsorship of the summit, I will only invest the kind of money, blood, sweat, and tears into an event that I am in control of (or as much as reasonably possible). #Fashion needs to be presented in as authentic and individual a paradigm as the #luxuryBoutiques and #personalstyle the designs are themselves.
